The Powys Children’s Information Service provides free, confidential and impartial information to parents and carers on childcare and related services in Powys for children aged 0-20.
We can give information and advice on childcare options:
- Childminders
- Day nurseries
- Playgroups / Cylchoedd Meithrin
- Parent and Toddler groups / Ti a Fi
- Out of school and holiday clubs / Playschemes
We also have information on various related services and organisations.
In Powys, an Integrated Children's Centre is a network of organisations providing services for and working with children and families in each of the 4 designated geographical areas. Their main aim is the co-ordination, integration and further development of services for children 0-14 years (and up the 16 years for young people with additional needs) and their families.
